Author’s meeting with Sławomir Skowronek

We invite you to an author’s meeting with SŁAWOMIR SKOWRONEK devoted to his latest book POST MORTEM 24.04.2025 – Thursday – 5:00 p.m.

POST MORTEM is a continuation of the “Heilsberg cycle” describing events that took place in the 19th century in the then Lidzbark Warmiński, its surroundings, and also outside the borders of Poland. The fates of the characters are woven into the turbulent history of the Napoleonic Wars.
“The plot will find a place for heroism, sacrifice, love, but also for moments of weakness, perfidy and villainy. And – as usual in my novels – it turns out that a bad or unfortunate beginning does not have to mean a sentence, that a change for the better may occur.” (excerpt from the introduction)
