AVE MARIA Concert: THE ART OF PRAYER

Ladies and Gentlemen,
WE CORDIALLY INVITE YOU to the concert entitled AVE MARIA: THE ART OF PRAYER, which will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Orangery of Culture in Lidzbark Warmiński.
Featuring: HANNA ZAJĄCZKIEWICZ (lyric soprano) and MARCIN MACKIEWICZ (piano).
The concert will be dedicated to performances of compositions inspired by the text of Ave Maria – masterpieces of music from various eras. The program, encompassing compositions from the Baroque period to the 20th century, will showcase the richness of styles and means of expression in sacred music. The sounds of the piano will combine with the soprano vocals, creating a unique atmosphere conducive to contemplating the beauty of music and the artistry of the Old Masters.

Hanna Zajączkiewicz began her singing career in 2001 in the Choir of the Medical University of Białystok under the direction of Professor Bożenna Sawicka.
She continued her studies at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, at the Faculty of Instrumental and Pedagogical Studies in Białystok, and at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica “E.F. Dall’Abaco” in Verona, Italy.
She maintains a vibrant concert career. Her portfolio includes numerous concerts of songs, oratorios, cantatas, and operas, as well as a significant number of awards (including first place) and distinctions.
She is also a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology. Since 2021, she has served as Head of the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Diseases at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. He is a valued lecturer who skillfully combines the disciplines of medicine and music. He conducts lectures and workshops on voice production, solo singing, otorhinolaryngology, and the basics of phoniatrics and vocal hygiene.
Marcin Mackiewicz is a well-known and renowned pianist, organist, arranger, and teacher. For many years, he has been associated with the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Peace in Stoczek Klasztorny, Warmia, where he serves as organist. He is also a pianist at the Chopin Center in Szafarnia. He is the creator and founder of the private music schools Res Facta Musica, which provided musical education for children and youth in many cities in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian and Warmian-Masurian Voivodeships. He is an active promoter of artistic life and organizer of organ concerts.
