Eliza Kącka at the Orangery of Culture in Lidzbark Warmiński – 26.09.2024 – Thursday – 6:00 PM and 27.09.2024 – Friday – 10:00 AM.
A writer, literary scholar, critic, author of one of the most frequently discussed and recommended books in recent months in the press, on podcasts and in social media, WCZORAJ BYŁASZ ZLA NA ZIELONO, will be present on 26.09 at 6:00 PM and 27.09 at 10:00 AM at the Orangery of Culture as part of the 5th Edition of the Book and Illustration Festival for Big and Small INSERTS BETWEEN FAIRY TALE. We invite everyone interested to the first meeting, and students of Lidzbark secondary schools to the second.
The meeting with the Author will be an excellent opportunity to talk not only about her latest publication, but also about literature in the broad sense – including essays, poetry and the condition of reading in the contemporary world.
We will also ask her for a handful of memories from her hometown of Lidzbark Warmiński, which often appears in her work.
ELIZA KĄCKA is also the author of prose books: Elizje (2017), po drugiej stronie sobie (2019), Strefa zcrumotu (2022), the essay book Idiomy. Eseje (2023) and academic books: Stanisław Brzozowski wobec Cyprian Norwida (2012), Lektura jako Spotkania.
Brzozowski – text – method (2017). In addition, she has prepared several selections of poetry (not only the latest) and is active as a columnist and collaborator of “Tygodnik Powszechny”.
