Literary event THINGS THAT LAST.
11 Nov 2024We invite you to the literary event THINGS THAT LAST. OBJECTS, MEMORY AND PASSING in “Things I Didn’t Throw Away” by Marcin Wicha.
We propose 2 meetings led by Aleksandra Niziołek:
15.11.2024 – Friday – 10:00 a.m. for secondary school youth
15.11.2024 – Friday – 5:00 p.m. for adults and anyone interested.
The event will be devoted to something that has disappeared from the public and social space in recent years, and is increasingly returning in contemporary literature: passing and loss. Together we will look at the role of objects left behind by those who have passed away. At the meeting, we will also learn how memory and literature help us cope with loss.
