Ślimak Half Marathon on May 14

Dear citizens of Cittaslow! For the second time, we invite you to the snail run, which will connect Górowo Iławeckie and Lidzbark Warmiński. The 21 km long route has been certified by the Polish Athletics Association. Before the main race in Górowo, children will start at the following distances: 200, 400, 600 and 800 meters. At the finish line, at the Wysoka Brama in Lidzbark Warmiński, there will be a running town with artistic performances and food outlets. We invite you to the Slimaka Half Marathon on May 14. The most important information about the Ślimaka Half Marathon
– May 14 (Sunday) – Górowo Iławeckie (City Stadium) /Lidzbark Warmiński (City Center)
– start of the Main Run at a distance of 21,089 km at 1:00 p.m. (only adults or over 16 years of age with the consent of a parent/guardian)
– PZLA certified route (asphalt)
– two hydration points along the route
– time limit is 3 hours
– entry fee: PLN 50.00 – from March 1-30, 2023 (inclusive); PLN 70.00 – from April 1, 2023 to April 30, 2023 (inclusive); PLN 90.00 – from May 1, 2023 to May 10, 2023 (inclusive); PLN 100.00 – on the day of the competition
– the starting package includes: a cast medal designed especially for the race (pressure technique), a technical T-shirt (women’s/men’s) – S/M/L/XL, a souvenir fridge magnet, a starting number with a timing chip, coffee and tea and a regeneration meal after the run
– start of the Children’s Run at 10.30 – run over 4 distances according to age categories: 200m/400m/800m/1000m.
