WE ARE SAILING TO THE HAPPY ISLANDS WITH ELA WASIUCZYŃSKA

We invite children aged 7+ and their guardians to an ART WORKSHOP with illustrator Ela Wasiuczyńska – July 25, 2025 – Friday – 12:00 PM.

Everyone imagines their Happy Island a little differently.
Who do they spend their time with and how? What treats do they enjoy? Are there animals there – if so, which ones? Tame tigers, playful puppies, or perhaps real dinosaurs?
Or maybe it’s a place where our extraordinary powers are revealed?

TOGETHER WITH ELA WASIUCZYŃSKA – artist, painter, and graphic designer – we will draw and cut out our archipelago of the Happy Islands. We will also read green poems from the newly published poetry book by Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński, “The Olsztyn Chronicle and Other Green Poems,” illustrated by Ela.

The Book and Illustration Festival for Adults and Children “Wspólżyć między Farzenia” (Put Your Dreams Between Fairy Tales) is organized by the “Miej Marzenia” Women’s Association, the “Krasicki” Hotel, the Municipal Pedagogical Library, and the Lidzbark Warmiński Cultural Orangery. It is co-financed by the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship Government, the Municipality of Lidzbark Warmiński, and the Rural Commune of Lidzbark Warmiński.
