Family art workshops Forest Hiking

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We cordially invite you to a FAMILY art workshop, FOREST TRIPS, with the renowned painter and illustrator ELA WASIUCZYŃSKA, July 10, 2026 – Friday – 12:00 PM at the Orangery of Culture.

ELA WASIUCZYŃSKA – a Krakow-based artist, an outstanding Polish illustrator, a master of nature painting, endowed with exceptional sensitivity, delicacy, and immense talent. She uses exclusively manual techniques: painting, semi-dimensional cut-out, appliqué, and embroidery.

She has illustrated dozens of books, including: The popular “Mr. Kuleczka” series by Wojciech Widłak, “Agnieszka Osiecka for Children,” “The Wonderful Well: Polish Fairy Tales” by Joanna Papuzińska, “Forest Journeys” by Maria Dunin-Wąsowicz, and her own book, “My First Alphabet.”

Ela knows perfectly well that every forest is home to a thousand stories. You just need to know how to listen to them… and then paint them! This will be a meeting for adults and children, children, adults, seniors, and entire families.
Once we fill our heads with forest stories, we will become artists.
Paints, crayons, paper, and colorful materials will help us create our own piece of the forest. Perhaps a deer in a floral dress? A hedgehog with pockets for strawberries? Or perhaps a family of foxes going on a summer picnic? THIS WILL BE A WORKSHOP DURING WHICH TALENT IS NOT COMMANDED, BUT THE JOY OF CREATION TOGETHER.

The Book and Illustration Festival for Adults and Children “MIĘDZYĆ BAJKI WŁOŻYĆ” (INCLUDING FAIRY TALE) is organized by the “Miej Marzenia” Women’s Association, the “Krasicki” Hotel, the Municipal Pedagogical Library and the Orangery of Culture in Lidzbark Warmiński, and is co-financed by the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, the Municipality of Lidzbark Warmiński, and the Rural Commune of Lidzbark Warmiński.
